17 October 2025

The City of Cape Town has opened vendor applications for the My Cape Town Market – The Company’s Garden 2025, taking place this December under the theme “A Caring City”.

This much-loved market celebrates local creativity, community spirit, and entrepreneurship by bringing together artisans, food vendors, designers, and small business owners in one of Cape Town’s most iconic spaces.

Vendor applications open on Friday, 17 October 2025, and close on Tuesday, 14 November 2025, at 16:30. Trading bays are available at R78 per day for the duration of the event.

The market will run from 16 - 20 December 2025, between 16:00 and 22:00, at the Company’s Garden in the Cape Town CBD.

‘The My Cape Town Market - The Company’s Garden is one of the City’s flagship events, gathering local vendors in a historic setting during the peak festive season. This initiative showcases our commitment to inclusive economic growth, small business development, and community upliftment.

‘This annual market is a personal highlight for me to see how it brings life to our local economy, gives entrepreneurs a platform to grow, and turns creativity into opportunity. It’s a reminder of the spirit of Cape Town and the people who make this city extraordinary,’ said Alderman James Vos, the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Economic Growth.
